Our Faith

LifeCenter International Church is a local church part of the Swedish Pentecostal movement. As a congregation we share the same faith statement as Pentecostals worldwide. One can sum up the faith like this:

God is a good God who created man to live in eternal relationship with him. But man chose to go his own way and thus broke that close relationship. In order to restore the relationship, Jesus came to earth and sacrificed himself on the cross for our sake. He took upon Himself the punishment that awaited everyone. By believing in Jesus anyone can get a personal relationship with God and have eternal life with him. For you to be saved, the only thing you need to do is believe that Jesus died for you and ask him to forgive all the errors you have made. You can say something like "Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God and that you died for my sake. Forgive me all my sins. Thank you that I am forgiven and now am your child."

About the Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God to all people. It is written by people who were inspired by God and the Bible is the only authoritative, infallible word of God.

About God

We believe in one eternal God. He has eternally existed in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

About Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as a sign of the Spirit and  the spiritual gifts in operation.

About Baptism

We believe in the Biblical baptism by immersion in water, for those who have chosen to confirm their faith by being baptized. We therefore do not baptize infants. However, we usually pray for the children and their parents, so-called "child dedication".

About Eternity

We believe that man was created to exist forever, and the resurrection of both saved and lost. The saved to have eternal life in Heaven and the lost to eternal perdition.

About the Christian life

We believe that the Christian faith is to be put into practice in daily life and in the need to serve people of all walks of life.
